Ahmadi Sunni, Hanafi Sunni, Wahabi Sunni… or just Muslim?

C1. Mr. Khalifa.

You missed the whole point.  If Ahmadi believes they are Muslims, you have no right to lebel them as non-Muslims.  You can debate with them amicably.  After all, Allah is the ultimate Judge.

Like them, the majority of Muslims believe in the finality of the Messengership of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which is also a conjecture.  So, if you use the same logic, then the majority of Muslims are non-Muslims too, right?

I hope I make my point clear.

Thank you and may Allah guide me.

C2.  Dear Mr. Hannan, Salaam.
Please know that Ahmadi hearsay is based on two important Sunni hearsays:

  1. The arrival of the Prophet Jesus and
  2. The arrival of the Imam Mahdi.

Howcome your great Hanafi Sunni Ulama of the past and present forget these fact and call Ahmadis non-Muslims?!

Do you know that a group of Sunnis rejected some hadiths and become Wahabi Sunni!  How do you label them for rejecting some of your hadiths?!

The Prophet Muhammad was the Last Prophet.  The Quran never tells us that the Prophet Muhammad was the Last Messenger. But, the majority of  Sunnis set up similar example like Ahmadis, believing in another hearsay, that the Prophet Muhammad was the last Messenger!

If you consider Ahmadis as non-Muslim for believing in two of your hearsays, how do you consider yourself being a Muslim believing in three hearsays:

  1. The arrival of the Prophet Jesus
  2. The arrival of the Imam Mahdi
  3. The Prophet Muhammad was the last messenger.

The religion of Islam cannot be based on conjectures established by your ulama like hadith, sunnah, fatwa, sharia.

Please go back to the Quran, repent and become just Muslim!

Thank you and may Allah guide me.

Muhammed Irtaza

C3. This is just rhetoric, avoiding the main point of the Ahmadi heresy on a fundamental belief  of Islam (that no prophet of any type, Zilli or Buruzi or Tashrii or NonTashrii or subordinate to a main prophet can come after Prophet Muhammad sm) .This is agreed among all  great Ulama of Islam of the past and present..

Shah Abdul Hannan

C4. Mr. Hannan,

Did Allah give permission to those Sunni or Shia Ulamah to decree fatwa against Ahmadiyyas as non-Muslims?!

Please ask these Ulamah if Allah also gave them permission to label themselves as Sunni or Shia Muslims?!

This is indeed strange!  Ahmadiyya groups form their belief system based on Sunni hadiths!  Yet, they are non-Muslims in the eyes of Sunni Muslims!  But, Sunni Ulama consider Shias as Muslims even though they do not believe in their hadiths!!!!!

Mr. Hannan, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was neither Sunni, nor Shia, nor Ahmadi, nor Wahabi, nor Ismaily!  He was Muslim.

Allah is the Ultimate Judge.  Go back to the Quran and ask forgiveness from Allah.  Do not be so proud!  We should be worry about our own necks!

Thank you and may Allah guide me from wicked ulama.

Muhammed Irtaza

C5. Dear sir,

Assalamu Alaikum. Sir, this declaration of Ahmadis as Non-Muslims was necessary for the integrity of Islam and protection of simple Muslims. Sir, it is not an ordinary matter that all great Sunni, Shia, Ahle Hadith Ulama of the world, OIC Fiqh academy have this view. Sir, we should have trust on all those people.

Sir, this is not malice or hatred, this is an Islamic duty. Hasty such declaration is not proper but when it is given after great consideration, this is a necessity.,

Shah Abdul Hannan

C6. Qur’an forbids killing anyone without proper judicial trial. Ahmadias may have different belief, but is anybody entitled to say whether someone is Muslim or not. It is up to the Allah (SWT) to decide who is Muslim .

However, our duty is to tell them that they are deviating from the fundamentals of what is in Islam. It is up to them to correct themselves. if not we cannot force them or kill them. They will be responsible for their wrong belief in the Day of Judgment.

Muslims condemn Murdering Ahmadiyya Muslims in Indonesia

No Scripture supports any killing;

Certainly Quraan does not support it.

The only condonable killing is in self-defense, even then the scripture commands you to back off, if you see the signs that the offender is backing off, the best among you is the one who forgives and the forgiver is one of the dearest beings to God.

These Muslim-labeled men are hiding behind religion for their evil acts and shame on us, as a society for according them that false label and allowing them carry on those acts as if Islam sanctions it.

As a society, we should condemn every aggression and murder regardless of the label the killers use; religion, security, politics, democracy, capitalism, collateral damage, communism, progress, Quraan, Gita, Bible or the Torah.  There simply is no justification for any murder.

There is belligerency among a few Muslims; they are so arrogant that they knock God out his seat and take over judging other people’s faith, shame on us we are letting them take over God’s role, he alone is the master of the day of judgment.  You cannot judge other peoples faith, it is between them and their creator. Only God knows what is in one’s heart and there are numerous examples and stories in Quraan about it.

The silent majority of Muslims do not approve this, but at least a few of them need to speak up. This is not acceptable and we express this disgust by signing the name below.

As a Muslim I will urge Muslims to condemn any evil act. We cannot allow religious stamp on the evil things men do. It is up to Hindus, Jews, Christians and others to do their work in the name of their faith if their faith is used to justify crimes.

We must resist temptations to point fingers at others; it amounts to justification of our own wrong doing. Each one of us is answerable to the creator for our silence, just like each one of us will receive a traffic ticket for speeding, others get away on the same road, but there is nothing we can do about it. We were wrong and it is our own responsibility to fix ourselves. If we do that, then our voice will carry value.

You and I have the power to express, we can boldly say that using religion to kill any one is wrong, that is the least we can do.

I hope and pray that the community of nations and societies treat this as capital crime and every one involved in killing must be punished.

I request that this note or a different note be circulated among the “silent people” to let them sign, a first step in being righteous.

Are you gutsy enough to sign up? If you are, write your name and the name of your town down in the comments section. Or create your own appeal and do it, but please do it.

Please join Mike Ghouse to nurture the pluralistic ideals embedded in Islam. Islam is about justice and fairness and balance in a society, that is all God wants in Quraan (49:13); for us to get along. http://www.worldmuslimcongress.net/
